Spring Has Sprung
Even during my my last few days of break in Connecticut, I could tell that spring was upon us. The weather had taken a turn for the better, the crocuses were starting to pop up and there were robins in the neighborhood. I really love this time of the year because everything feels very fresh and new. It is a time for new beginnings, especially in your wardrobe. The colors get brighter and everything starts to feel a lot more fun. I was extremely pleased with the Spring collections at J.Crew factory and Banana Republic where I picked up Elliott's birthday gift- clay colored chinos and a linen button down. They went over very well. What are you most excited for this spring?
They had this skirt on a mannequin with a white v-neck tee and a chambray shirt tied around the waist. I had to have it. What a perfect piece to go from school to casual!
I picked up these for Ell for his birthday. I love how when you roll the cuff there is another fabric inside. The Emerson fit is narrow but still relaxed.
If there was any chance of rain in California I would have to have these Chooka flats!

What I Love This Weekend...
Easy, breezy button downs. So comfy and so versatile. Pair it with jeans, tuck it into a skirt or if it's long enough wear it with leggings. Underneath you can do a fun floral crop bustier or a simple cami. Possibilities are endless. I want every color!

Hot-Lanta
I attended the ASDA Annual Session in Atlanta, Georgia March 6th-10th. It was really fun to meet people from other dental schools, see a little but of a new city and indulge on free cocktails with drink tickets. I had an awesome time visiting the World of Coke with my lovely friend Viviane from UConn. On Saturday the formal President's Gala was a great time to recycle an old banquet dress. Here are some of the highlights...

I Love A Coin Purse
Some people have a lot of shoes. Some people have a fetish for bags. Okay, so I have a ridiculous amount of both of those things, but what really has gotten out of control is my coin purse collection. Every shape, pattern and color you can imagine. And the funny thing is, not one of them actually has coins in it. My boyfriend's mom is partially to blame. I think she knows I love an accessory and she is always sending me some cute little coin purse that I fill with odds and ends and toss in my bag. Is there a meeting for small bag addiction?

Brunch in Beverly Hills
The girls and I had brunch in Beverly Hills on Saturday morning at Tart at the Farmer's Daughter Hotel. I am totally obsessed with this place. We were drawn in by the promise of $15 bottomless mimosas but Kendall almost had a heart attack when she saw this punch bowl full of mimosa/screwdrivers aka OJ, champagne and peach vodka. And I am always a happy girl when I get to drink from a mason jar. That bowl, which is pictured mostly empty was only $25. Ridiculous! It's easy to get a little jaded sitting outside in 85 degree weather next to the actor that plays Jack Porter from Revenge sipping a champs cocktail in your aviators. I was brought back to earth by the frisbee-sized "Hangover Burger" I ordered with grass-fed beef, avocado, a huge fried egg and bacon. Okay, not really.
